2017 MBA CSEA Award Winners

Congratulations to our 2017 Award Winners:
Tracy Handler, NYU Stern (Service Award for Significant Contributions Over Time)
Tom Kozicki, University of California Irvine, Paul Merage School of Business (Service Award for a Significant One-time Contribution)
Ewan Henry, Nottingham University Business School (Mel Penn New Member Award)
MBA CSEA is pleased to recognize three very deserving members for their contributions to the organization and the industry.

Tracy Handler, NYU Stern
Tracy received the Service Award for Significant Contributions Over Time. Tracy has served MBA CSEA as a board member, conference presenter, member of the Standards Committee and Media Liaison for many years. Most recently, she co-chaired the Standards Committee, along with Shannon Caldwell from the University of Georgia, while chairing the Part-time MBA Standards Task Force and serving on the Specialty Masters Standards task force. The Part-time MBA Standards task force was formed four years ago, and spent a great deal of time creating the Standards. Tracy led the efforts, putting in a tremendous among of time and talent. It's because of her leadership that the Standards for Reporting Part-time (excluding Executive) MBA Employment Profile was launched in June 2017.

Tom Kozicki, University of California Irvine, Paul Merage School of Business
Tom received the Service Award for a Significant One-Time Contribution. As a long-time organizational leader and contributor, Tom received the Service Award for Significant Contributions Over Time in the past. This year, he was given an additional award to recognize his contributions as chair of the Specialty Masters Task Force. Tom took over leadership of the task force two year ago and focused on mobilizing and organizing the work. As a result of his time, dedication and leadership, the Standards for Reporting Specialty Masters Employment Statistics were launched in June 2017.

Ewan Henry, Nottingham University Business School
Ewan received the Mel Penn New Member Award for his contributions as Co-Chair of the 2017 European Conference. Along with his co-chair Natalia Milani from IE Business School, Ewan led a volunteer team in the successful execution of this growing event, which drew over 160 attendees from Europe and beyond to Lisbon, Portugal. Ewan took on the role as co-chair after having been on the conference committee for one year, and a member of the organization for two. Ewan is also brand new to the career services industry, which makes his contributions all the more impressive. He reached outside of his comfort zone to take on this role, and the results were tremendous.
