Please join the MBA CSEA Board of Directors in welcoming our newly elected board members! The following members were elected to a 3-year term on the board. 
 
Jay Brown
Lead College Recruiting Manager, AT&T
 
Jay Brown began his AT&T career with SBC/Cellular One in Washington DC in 2000. Holding a variety of roles within AT&T, since 2008 Jay has been a part of AT&T's College Recruiting & Development Team where he helps students find the perfect full time, internship or Co Op position with AT&T. Jay earned his B.S. in Marketing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his M.B.A. from The American University and now resides in Atlanta. 
 
 
Kelly Collins
Director, Graduate and Alumni Career Services, Bauer College of Business, University of Houston
 
Though her main ambition is to one day get paid to hike in the mountains with an army of rescue dogs, Kelly keeps busy running the Graduate and Alumni Career Team at the Bauer College of Business, University of Houston where she has been since 2016. A native Wisconsinite, Kelly has lived in Los Angeles, Chicago, Salt Lake City before moving to Houston.  She has built a career focused around relationship development; creating programs and initiatives while supporting students and employers. When she's not working, she's fighting off swamp creatures on adventures with her husband and spirited rescue dog, Siggi. 
 
 
John Helmers
Director, Graduate Career Management, University of Colorado, Boulder, Leeds School of Business
 
John has spent the last 10 years leading Graduate Career Management efforts at the Leeds School of Business at The University of Colorado Boulder, where he and his team provide coaching and programming to full-time and part-time MBA students, as well as MS students across 4 programs. He also oversees the Leeds MBA Professional Mentorship Program, works closely with employers, and teaches the MBA Professional Development course. Prior to joining Leeds he worked in marketing for a global technology company after starting his career in the ski industry.  John received his Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Miami University (OH) and obtained his MBA from the Leeds School of Business at The University of Colorado Boulder.  

Mitch Kam
Director, Career and Employer Development, Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western University
 
Mitchell Kam, Director, Career and Employer Development, joined the Weatherhead School of Management in 2014 after previously serving as Director of Career Counseling and Professional Development at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Prior to Case, Mitch held various law and graduate business school positions at The University of Texas, Willamette College of Law, and the University of Houston. Mitch also worked for various businesses domestically and internationally, including Charles Schwab where he managed graduate recruiting. Mitch earned a JD from the University of San Diego, an MBA from The University of Texas (McCombs), and a BA from UCLA.
 
 
Lorena Martinez
Director, International MBA Careers, IE Business School
Hi, I am Lorena Martinez and I am a Career Coach focused on helping MBA and Executive professionals to develop and achieve their career goals. I help people realize their true potential, perform better at their jobs, and achieve amazing things. For the lat 2 years, I have been working closely with Soul Searchers, developing a series of workshops regarding self-awareness, motivations and interest, career capital...Getting to know yourself is key to finding your dream job, and my objective is to make this process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. When I am not working, you can find me reading something awkwardly interesting about introverts over a hot cup of coffee at a small local cafe. 
 
 

We are also happy to welcome Phil Han, who has been appointed for a one-year term in order to assist with the board's strategic research initiatives:
 
Phil Han
Director of Recruiting Operations & Career Advisor, UCLA Anderson School of Management
 
Phil joined the Parker Career Management Center at UCLA Anderson in August 2004 as a career advisor. In 2008, Phil transitioned into his role as the Director of Recruiting Operations, supervising the Recruiting Team and overseeing campus recruiting operations, data and technology management, and office logistics, while continuing as a career advisor for MBA students interested in technology and healthcare sectors. Over the years, Phil has been an active member of MBA CSEA and has been part of Standards, Research & Trends, and Conference committees. Phil has a BS from University of Michigan, an MA in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business.

We look forward to working closely with these professionals as we move forward with our strategic goals and initiatives!
