Career Center Leaders Workshop: Measuring and Communicating our Team’s Successes in Today’s World

January 31, 1 pm EST

Metrics. KPIs. Outcomes. Satisfaction Scores. Quantity Of. Representing the work of career development is one of the top strategic priorities but we often struggle with finding the best ways to convey our success.

Let’s harness the power of diverse minds and use a design thinking approach to brainstorm and generate as many ideas as possible for our wicked problem: What are all the ways we can measure and communicate our career team’s successes?

Please join us with an open mind and a lot of energy for this interactive session on January 31st, 2022 at 1:00pm EST.  We are also hosting a follow-up session to take a deeper dive into the topic on February 9 at 12 pm EST. You must attend the first session to attend the second. The login details for the February 9th session will be provided to attendees from the January 31st workshop.

Registration:
This session is open to Career Center Leaders only (the senior most person responsible for MBA/Masters Career Services at each school – one person per school unless there is a separate reporting structure for MBA and Masters teams). Substitutions may not be made if the leader is not able to attend. An email invitation was sent with RSVP information to all Career Center leaders. If you didn’t receive it, please
contact us.

Facilitator:

Julia Zupko is Director of Career and Professional Development for Schwarzman College.  In this capacity she oversees internship and post-program endeavors, the Mentor Program, and co-organizes leadership development activities. Ms. Zupko’s experience encompasses career pursuits of pre-experience, mid-career, and experienced executives globally. She is trained in the Stanford Design Your Life program and has utilized design thinking skills/concepts with staff, faculty, alumni, and students to foster effective brainstorming (pandemic pivoting required a lot of creative thinking!).

Previously she served as Assistant Dean at the Yale School of Management (SOM) and Director at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.  Prior to her work in Career Development, Ms. Zupko was a Senior Consultant in the healthcare practice for Tucker Alan Inc.  Ms. Zupko earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
