What will the practice of virtual recruiting look like moving forward? Join employer panelists as they explore what the future may hold for both recruiters and schools as we move forward in the post pandemic world. Topics covered will include lessons learned, new best practices that will be utilized moving forward and how to optimize virtual interviewing in the future. There will be an opportunity for Q&A from participants as well.

Moderator:
Heidi Cuthbertson, Campus Relations Strategist, Ball Aerospace

Heidi Cuthbertson has worked in many facets of the career services profession. From Senior College Recruiter at Freddie Mac, to Associate Director of Graduate Career Services at the University of California Riverside, to her current role leading the campus relations strategy, university recruiting and summer intern program at Ball Aerospace, she has developed programs and managed relationships on both sides of the fence. Heidi is currently a board member of MBA CSEA and serves as the organization’s Secretary. She is also on the Diversity & Inclusion Task Force, and co-chairs the MBA CSEA Certifications Committee along with Karen Dowd. She was conference co-chair for the MBA CSEA 2018 Global Conference in Miami, FL and has served on several other committees for the organization. Heidi received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English from Colgate University and earned her Master of Education in Higher Education from Penn State.


 
Panelists:
Melanie Parker, Global Campus Recruiter, American Express

Melanie has devoted the past 8 years to building recruiting strategy and implementing hiring best practices in the world of Talent Acquisition. Before joining the US Campus Recruitment Team at American Express, Melanie spent the past year supporting the Amex Chief Data Office in developing Global Recruitment strategy and central training practices that could be scaled across the Enterprise Digital and Analytics business.

Prior to joining American Express, Melanie brings 5 years of experience as a Campus Recruiter working at CDW. Her focus was on developing strategy for undergraduate recruiting and building relationships with key stakeholders across campuses and within the business.

Melanie graduated from Purdue University with a BA degree in Organizational Communication. She enjoys HIIT Functional Training, spending time with family and friends, and is a self-proclaimed cookie connoisseur. She is originally from Chicago, but now resides in Phoenix, AZ.


Nicole Wright, University Recruiting, Gusto

Nicole currently works at Gusto, focusing on recruiting early career talent for their company-wide internship program. Prior to joining Gusto, Nicole recruited university talent into both engineering and business roles at a publicly traded Fortune 500 technology company and also helped manage their summer internship program. Being the first in her immediate family to graduate college, she is passionate about creating meaningful recruiting experiences for early career talent and being part of a company that is creating a world where work empowers a better life.
