Graduate business schools and employers have a long history of working together with MBA student populations. Over recent years as MBA enrollments have dipped, schools have increasingly created new specialty masters programs. Business analytics, finance, and accounting are some of the more popular degrees.
During this webinar, Ray Pettit (UCSD Rady School of Management) will compare and contrast MBA and MS Business Analytics curricula, what skills these students gain in these two degree programs that add value to hiring employers, and give some examples of capstone projects his business analytics students have completed for various corporate partners.
Kiran Kanetkar will give an overview of Petco and discuss how he recruits both MBA and MS Business Analytics candidates, what knowledge and skills are targeted, and the typical career roles and paths for graduates from these two different degree programs.
