The Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College is seeking a dynamic, problem solving, and service-oriented Associate Director, Career Resources Centerto join their team! The Associate Director is a full-time staff member whose primary responsibility is to engage with and support students and alumni through the job/internship search process. As the MBA Internship Program Advisor, s/he will establish and maintain strong relationships with employers who hire Crummer students and alumni, as well as provide career coaching to students and alumni. The Associate Director recommends, designs, maintains, and produces departmental and other reports and projects as needed to ensure successful development and implementation of the Career Resource Center’s strategies. This role reports to the Director, Student Success and supervises the Career Resource administrative role. Primary responsibilities include:
Support the Director in periodic
ally reviewing and implementing initiatives which support the program’s strategic goals, and objectives.
Provide leadership, supervision, and professional guidance for the CRC administrative role.
In role of Internship Advisor, oversee and manage the Internship program for the full-time students, supporting the goal that 100% internships are secured by due dates. Coach students on processes, guide them on appropriate internship opportunities, partner with employers to generate opportunities, arrange for follow up with employers and track related paperwork. Advise Director of student compliance and provide insights regarding special circumstances.
Provide instruction in Career Strategies course, workshops and other programs, encouraging development of networking and job-search skills, and ultimately job placement.
Serve as career counselor/advisor and professional development resource for students and alumni by providing one-on-one counseling as well as resources which will assist students and alumni with their internship/job search.
Establish new and maintain existing employer connections. Connect employers with faculty, staff, students, and alumni to maximize hiring / networking opportunities. Recommend, implement, and assess CRC marketing and public relations strategies which will attract and retain business and community partners.
Collaborate with Alumni Relations to establish key partnerships with existing and new alumni professionals.
Work closely with the International Student and Scholar Services Office to ensure compliance with immigration regulations on visa issues for international students.
Work in collaboration with the Director to address and help resolve issues that impact students’ academic success.
Represent the College through community and industry involvement in order to maintain and enhance the reputation of the Crummer Graduate School of Business.
Work with the Director by providing fiduciary oversight of spending related to the programs generated through the CRC.
Generate materials, coordinate logistics, and facilitate workshops (virtually and in-person) which align with CRC programming.
Prepare and deliver presentations (virtually and in person) to different groups (prospective students, faculty, staff, etc.) as needed.
Complete special projects and reports for Director and/or Dean as requested, including developing ad-hoc reports to analyze data and special requests by departments and senior management; responsible for the accurate collection and dissemination of information used by senior management.
Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license, accessible transportation, and a satisfactory driving record to attend work-related events.
Perform additional job-related activities as assigned.

Bachelors degree is required, Master's degree preferred.
8 - 10 years’ work experience with demonstrated success in recruitment or related field (preferably in an educational or corporate environment).
Experience working in HR, talent acquisition or recruiting is desired.
Supervisory experience in a small office environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to positively interact with individuals on all levels to achieve common goals (students, alumni, faculty, staff, etc.).
Protection of student and employer confidentiality is a must.
Knowledge of and ability to effectively communicate job search process, including career strategies, networking, resume development, interviewing.
Knowledge of diverse industries preferred.
Strong technical competencies and demonstrated experience using recruitment software and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, WebEx).
Exercise sound judgment and decision-making by ensuring interpretation and communication of policies and procedures are consistent and accurate.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; strong public speaking and presentation skills.
Ability to contribute ideas to improving internal processes.
Knowledge of budget management and basic accounting concepts; strong time management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
