Mohr Career Services leads the Lundquist College’s effort to support its students in launching and navigating their careers. The Associate Director for Career Strategy is responsible for developing and operationalizing a scalable and cohesive career education strategy in order to further engage with students and integrate into the student experience.

Working closely with the Senior Associate Director of Career Strategy, the Associate Director will develop and implement strategies that will create innovative, dynamic, and high-quality career education for Lundquist students by identifying and prioritizing goals, metrics for success, and integrating regular assessment. Career Education includes traditional forms of career advising, as well as curricular integration, with an eye for opportunities to scale engagement in order to maximize resources. The Associate Director is part of a cross-functional team that works with Lundquist undergraduate and graduate students to help them prepare to explore, launch and navigate their post-graduation destination.

This position supervises three career strategy advisors. This is a full-time, 12-month professional position that reports to the Senior Associate Director of Career Strategy. Occasional travel and frequent evening and weekend work is required.

Minimum Requirements
• Master's degree in related area or the equivalent in education and relevant career advising experience
• Four years of experience working with college students and the ability to assess individual capabilities
• Five years of experience in higher education career services, advising, counseling, academic advising, residence life, admissions
• Four years of supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications
• Five years of experience in higher education career services setting
• Related experience in marketing, corporate recruitment, business administration or career services
• A proven track record of developing, building, and assessing successful programs
