Ability to develop new relationships with companies who have the potential for hiring MPAc and other Specialty Masters and Business Administration students for internships and full-time job opportunities. Extensive knowledge of university employment market, specifically accounting, finance, and general business. Ability to design and modify computer applications to meet program needs, problem identification, presentation skills, verbal communication, written communication, and organization skills. Ability to conceptualize, develop and coordinate events and programs (virtual and live). Ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
Knowledge of UC programs, career services, employer, alumni, and faculty needs and expectations, recruiting and staffing methods, and employment trends.
Advanced degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Strong interpersonal skills are required to maintain cooperative working relationships with a variety of clients including recruiters, alumni, faculty, staff, and students.
Recruiting related experience preferred.
1+ years of experience in higher education preferred
Prior public accounting experience is highly preferred.
Special Conditions Required:
Some evenings and weekend work required.
