Career Management Coordinator, Specialized Masters
This position reports to the Director of Career & Corporate Partnerships, Full-Time MBA and Masters programs and under daily supervision of the Assistant Director, Career Management, assists in the design, coordination, and execution of career development offerings and services primarily for the Master of Science in Financial Economics (MSFE) and Master of Business Analytics (MSBA) Programs. This role will be the primary liaison with the MSFE program managers and primary contact for MSFE students seeking direct career support. This role will also be responsible for aiding in employer development and engagement specifically to support students with global backgrounds and specific visa needs, providing operations, student-interfacing, and project management support to early career Masters students.

-Employer Engagement: Work with Director of Careers & Corporate Partnerships, MSFE and MSBA Program Directors, and relevant stakeholders in identifying, engaging and creating partnerships with employers domestically and globally with specific focus on firms that do not require Permanent US Work Authorization.

- Create a plan to engage WSB or UW alumni in target firms to open doors to hiring opportunities.

- Source internship and full-time job opportunities for students that align with specific career goals of MSFE and other master's programs in weekly student communications.

  • 20% Supports event planning, coordination, and administrative tasks including data collection and student communications to support the MSFE and MSBA Career Management leadership.
