This position reports to the Director of Career and Corporate Partnerships for the Full Time MBA and Master's Programs, and supports the Career Management Team as the expert on the operational and communication requirements of the Career Management unit, including data collection, management, and reporting of all employment and other career management data and outcomes. It includes recruiting communications to students by email and social media to approximately 350 students. The job provides oversight and problem solving in collecting, organizing, and analyzing information from the University's various internal data systems as well as from external sources. The job supports reporting compliance to external agencies.

Plans, oversees, communicates employment (and other) outcomes to internal and external stakeholders to meet varied stakeholder needs. Stakeholders include rankings organizations (US News and World Report, Bloomberg, Financial Times, QS, and Poets & Quants), MBACSEA, Consortium, six Master's Program Offices, nine MBA Specializations, school leadership and others.

Requirements Serves as the main point of contact for WSB Marketing and Strategic Communications in updating web, print, and presentation materials annually. Maintains and seeks ways to continually improve the data collection process.

Utilizes databases, online survey tools, and Excel to provide a variety of ongoing and one-time reports that evaluate programming, monitor student progress, participation in events, and student engagement as well as Career Management Team efficiencies and effectiveness.

Designs surveys and collects and analyzes recruitment and other relevant data to provide strategic support and direction for Career Management programming and operations through In-Take, Fall Core, and other surveys. Conducts regular job postings and recruiting analysis, identifying and communicating trends to the team.

Oversee regular development of direct communication to students, including newsletters, announcements, email and other communications as needed.

Design systems and processes to collect student data and inform stakeholders on "Career Pathway" and other initiatives.

Analyzes, plans, and creates complex data and report sets for academic and/or university program planning. Provides accurate and timely data to leadership for strategic decision making either within a school/college or institutional level.
  • 10% Designs, implements, and evaluates data reporting systems
  • 20% Inputs, maintains, and analyzes data in confidential databases and transfers data as needed
  • 30% Generates data-based annual reports of curricular and departmental outcomes
  • 20% Provides expert statistical consulting, analysis, and technical assistance on research projects, program assessment, and evaluation
  • 10% Oversees and operationalizes communications (i.e. student newsletters, student social media channels, presentation (PowerPoint) deck development, etc.) for the Career Management office.
  • 10% Serves as a point of contact for employers, students, and internal stakeholders on recruiting operations
