Sr. Career Development Specialist
The Sr. Career Development Specialist, for the Rockwell Career Center at the C.T. Bauer College of Business will play an integral role in providing career development support to our MBA programs (full-time, part-time and executive), specialized master’s programs, as well as Bauer alumni. This role includes one on one and small group coaching for graduate business students in the areas of resume development, career planning and job search, interview preparation, networking, offer negotiation and other applicable career related topics. The Sr. Career Development Specialist will work closely with student organizations to plan and deliver career related programming, as well as special career topic panels. In addition, this position will develop new leads for potential internship and full-time employment opportunities.

Requirements |
Desired Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience
- Experience working specifically in a Business Career Services office career coaching and/or counseling business students and directly related industry experience in recruitment or one of the main functional areas (desired areas include finance, marketing, supply chain, consulting and business analytics)
- Ability to create and facilitate career related presentations
- Proven experience in building relationships with students, employers and faculty
- Ability to effectively communicate feedback to students
Responsibilities:
- Effectively interpret and discuss results of career assessments; guide students toward appropriate employment opportunities and help them prepare for the challenges and competition students face during recruitment
- Understand and analyze hiring trends and future employment opportunities
- Support the execution of networking opportunities, including mixers, site visits and conference participation
- Collect and analyze employment data
- Design and deliver career related content in a classroom setting
- Work collaboratively with graduate faculty, program, admissions and career teams
