Professional Development Committee: Virtual Round Tables

Virtual roundtables are sometimes conducted among niche groups when the audience will be relatively small and/or the topic is very specific and focused. An example is an employer roundtable, or a directors roundtable to discuss a specific issue such as business school rankings. A facilitator is selected (typically from the Professional Development Committee), and questions can be solicited in advance if desired. The roundtables include open discussion, and typically do not have a presentation component. The Bluejeans technology can be used for roundtables, so that the video component can be used.

The marketing and registration work the same as for webinars, with the Executive Director sending the Bluejeans login link to the participants in advance.
